I am one of the many people who can say they were lucky enough to grow up under the ministry of Pastor Dave and Miss Kathy. Some of my most vivid childhood memories are from Sunday mornings. Your magic tricks, your jokes, singing “The Holy Ghost Will Take the Chicken Out of You,” all of the musicals, and yes, even the one time you had me stand in the back for talking. From Kids Church to “grown up church” to doing our marriage counseling to dedicating our oldest daughter and more, you have been a constant in my life and I am eternally grateful to God for that. Our lives are better because you are in it. “Thank you” doesn’t seem enough, but thank you for being selfless in your ministry and your love for everyone. Thank you for teaching me about the goodness and love of God. Thank you for being WALOE. Thank you for being your wonderful self. You’ve prayed for me so many times throughout my life and I want you to know that we are praying for you. We love you very much, Pastor Dave!
