My brother, Dave Cunsolo, what can I say about him? There are so many things I remember. When we were little, we were leaving church, and the evangelist’s wife, Sis. Steffans, came running after us by our car. She said the Lord had told her that Dave, who was maybe 3 at the time, was anointed by God, and she prayed over him there on the sidewalk. I never forgot that! Growing up, he always marched to God’s drum, not the world’s. He would invite every neighbor to church! He was always cleaning the church and helping people out, a true servant’s heart! And he continued in that way when and after he married Kathy, another true servant of God! Together they spent years as children’s pastors, influencing generations to be followers of Christ! There were puppets, children’s church, outreaches, and spectacular musical programs! Later on they moved on to other roles, until Dave became senior pastor. I remember the years he worked on procuring the land for the new church and designing and having the church built. But all this is only a minute fraction of the work they have done, the effort they have put forth, and the sacrifices they have made for the Kingdom of God! They cleaned out houses, helped people move, gave people cars – there was nothing too small or too great that they wouldn’t do! Together Dave and Kathy have created a legacy of servanthood like none that I have ever seen! Dave was always there for those in their time of need. He was always different, someone multi-talented and gifted, but he was also just my brother, the guy who made crazy faces and had you laughing even when you wanted to cry❣️His footsteps, though difficult, would be wise to follow. Love and cherish him with all my ♥️
