I met Pastor Dave & Kathy as a teenager at First Assembly of God. I remember Dave popping his head in the church nursery on a Sunday night saying hey my SIL is coming to live with us, I think you two will hit it off. Lori came, and he was right. We became the best of friends. I spent a lot of time in their home watching them nurture their young children and love each other deeply. He was my mentor during a dark time in my life, always pointing me towards Jesus. Dave married my husband and I, was our girls children’s pastor later becoming our lead Pastor. Thank you just doesn’t seem adequate for the roles he’s played in my life. As the song goes….
